A. Indesit Service is the official after sales service organisation for Indesit, Hotpoint, Cannon, Creda and Ariston collectively known as Indesit Company UK Limited. All employees of 'Indesit Service' are employed by Indesit Company UK whereas most other appliance manufacturers sub-contract their service work to individual independent companies. Q. Why should I choose 'Indesit Service' to repair my appliance?
A. We employ over 1,000 engineers throughout the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland and can therefore offer you service at your convenience. We are the appliance industry's largest service operation in the UK and Ireland. You are safe in the knowledge that we will only fit genuine manufacturer parts which have been purposefully designed to fit our appliances. Following the repair the whole appliance is guaranteed for 90 days. This means that should another fault develop within 90 days of the first repair we will repair it at no charge.
Q. How can I book one of your engineers to repair my appliance?
A. Simply use our on-line 'Book A Service Call' feature by clicking here. This feature is directly linked into our call booking software applications and allows you to select your preferred appointment time (subject to availability). Alternatively you can also call our service centre on 08448 224 224 to book an engineer.
Q. My appliance is covered by an extended warranty, can I still use this system to book one of your engineers?
A. Yes you can. However, some of the extended warranty companies that we undertake repair work on behalf of insist that you get an authorisation number from them before we carry out the repair. If this is the case with your extended warranty provider then simply get this authorisation number and then indicate it on the warranty details page on our on-line system. You can then book one of engineers using our on-line system here.
Q. Why do you need all this information about the appliance?
A. Having as much information about the appliance as possible enables us to offer you a much better service. For example, if you tell us as much about the fault of the appliance we can try to ensure that our engineer has the required spare part(s) needed for when he visits you. We need to know where you bought the product from as well as we have agreements with some high street retailers where we have to pass the repair work to them first.
Q. Do your engineers only repair appliances or can they install an appliance or do a safety check for me?
A. Our engineers are also able to install appliances and can carry out safety checks (known as an appliance health-check). You can also book these using our on-line system by clicking here or calling us on 08448 224 224.

Q. Is this website secure?
A. Yes, you will see that if you order spare parts from us then when you reach the credit card information page a small padlock symbol should appear on your screen in the bottom right of your internet browser page. This indicates that this page is secure. You can also see this by the fact that the website address will change from starting with http:// to https://. The addition of the 's' also indicates a secure section.
Q. What do you do with my personal details?
A. We only need your personal details in order to complete any transaction, enquiry or engineer booking. After that we do keep your details on file but only in case any issue arises at a later date. We do not supply your details to any third party. The only time that we may contact you is to advise you that we have a new competition to win a Indesit appliance or of a similar offer based on your information but you are given the option to unsubscribe from receiving any further marketing offers. Extended Warranties
Q. What benefits will purchasing an extended warranty have?
A. Quite simply all parts and labour charges will be covered by an extended warranty so you'll have no unexpected bills to pay. Register Your Appliance
Q. Is there any reason as to why I should register my appliance?
A. Registering your appliance ensures that we know when you bought the appliance in question. This means that you will automatically be covered for your full 12 months parts and labour guarantee and that this can not be disputed. It also ensures that we can keep you up to date with any product developments should the need arise and keep you informed about our competitive extended warranties schemes as discussed above. Instruction Booklets
Q. What do I do if I need a replacement instruction booklet for my appliance?
A. We have instruction booklets available to be downloaded for over 1,000 Indesit, Hotpoint, Creda and Cannon models. Simply visit our 'Download an Instruction Booklet' . If the instruction booklet is not available for your appliance then you can also request a paper copy to be sent in the post to you. However, there may be a charge for this is the appliance is over 12 months old.

Q. Can I apply for a spare parts account?
A. Spare parts accounts are only for trade customers. If you are a trade customer then you can apply for a spare parts account. There are some terms and conditions that need to be met. These together with an on-line account application form are set out in more detail here.
